July Skillshare: Etched Jewelry with Design Specimen

It’s always exciting and inspiring to meet local crafters, and we feel so lucky to have met Christine Wagner from Design Specimen recently!  Christine will be leading our July event with an etched copper pendant Skillshare for us.

Come join us Saturday, July 14 at the Trumbullplex Theater in Detroit to learn how to make your own necklace. Materials fee is a steal at $5, and you will take home your own pendant!

Each participant will receive a kit for your $5 material fee which includes:

  • A pre-cut and pre-drilled copper disk
  • Pre-printed image transfer (there will be a couple of design options to choose from, crafty and vegan messages)
  • Q-Tips
  • Rubber Gloves
  • Safety Glasses
  • Jump Rings
  • Sandpaper
  • Cording for hanging pendant on
  • How-To Packet

You can pre-register for your spot here, or just show up with 5 bucks!

Design Specimen is the creative endeavor of Christine Wagner, a graphic designer, metalsmith, and vegan who blends all three to create fun jewelry that promotes messages of animal compassion.

Christine will also have a small selection of goods for sale.
